England v. Switzerland
Well if no one else will...

England: Hart, Clyne, Cahill, Smalling, Shaw, Delph, Shelvey, Milner, Sterling, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rooney.

Subs: Gibbs, Butland, Walcott, Stones, Jagielka, Vardy, Kane, Mason, Barkley, Heaton.

Switzerland: Sommer, Lichtsteiner, Klose, Rodriguez, Schar, Inler, Xhaka, Behrami, Stocker, Drmic, Shaqiri.

Subs: Burki, Hitz, Widmer, von Bergen, Moubandje, Lustenberger, Kasami, Fernandes, Inler, Stocker, Embolo.

Can't say i'd opt for Smalling, but it should be interesting nonetheless.

One stodgy midfielder too many for my liking. A Hodgson selection. Obviously scared of Behrami's forward runs.

This has got score draw written all over it

Re: England v. Switzerland
Forward runs of Behrami? He's a defensive midfielder.
Xhaka is the danger man and the attacking midfielder.

Hodgson's idea of form is getting a move to Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd or Liverpool
Doesn't matter if you don't get any game time, as long as they've signed you then you're in his team
Hodgson makes Graham Taylor look like he knew what he was doing, the sooner this useless cunt gets the boot the better

How would you line them up Mav, son?

maverick180 9:09 Tue Sep 8
Re: England v. Switzerland
Delph would get royally fucked off
The cunt went for a big pay day, as a result he's sacrificed his England career the minute he decided to sacrifice game time
I'd try Kane up front with Rooney, as Rooney up top on his own just doesn't work for England
Milner can also do one for someone young and in form like Redmond
I think Barkley is gonna be a top, top player and as suck id give him as much game time as possible
Oh and Stones for Smalling

I have to agree with Mav regarding Milner , bet u won't see him in a Liverpool team that much this season .

Re: England v. Switzerland
Yeah I'd Barkey in there too.

Can't really see any other changes though.

i think I'd rather Oxlade than Walcott too. Great subs bench.

Milner shouldn't be starting, but everyone else is pretty much spot on.

There has been no better England centre half in the last year than Smalling.

SHows how lacking we are in good centre halfs these days.

Fucking hell. Is that the quickest injury ever?

Fuck me did Delph warm up with our medic team?

Uncle "big team bias" Woy

Never win a thing with old fart Woy just like all the managers that came after me. Too cautious for his own good and besides we need 3 West Ham players.

Going well for Delph. Bet the Villa fans are pleased :-)

Re: England v. Switzerland
So many dodgy things I see from Hodgson though
Like:-
Why does Clyne start making the first team now he's moved to Liverpool when he was perfectly good enough last season at Southampton
Why has Lambert been fucked off now he's left Liverpool when he did absolutely nothing last season but managed to stay in the squad throughout?

i-Ron 9:19 Tue Sep 8
Re: England v. Switzerland
Eerie according to WHOscored.com

Phil Jones & James Tomkins were better rated than Smalling!

i-Ron 9:20 Tue Sep 8
Re: England v. Switzerland
Mav, son. Clyne was playing last season for England!

maverick180 9:23 Tue Sep 8
Re: England v. Switzerland
Pretty sure he went with Phil Jones over him quite alot last season?

maverick180 9:24 Tue Sep 8
Re: England v. Switzerland
I know Clyne did play but is it fair to say that it's right now that you can only say Clyne is first choice right back under Hodgson?

MrCrowmanSir 9:25 Tue Sep 8
Re: England v. Switzerland
Smalling did well there against Shakiri.
